I was introduced to CrossFit by my husband in 2011, during which I was completely in love with group fitness. Everyday he came home with something new that he was excited to share with me. The music was loud, the people were great. It was something I could fall in love with easily. Since then I have became a coach, and then affiliate owner. I love to utilize my passion for yoga and weightlifting to help the athletes in our gym be more successful in whatever life has in store for them. I have two beautiful "Reds" with Coach J Long, and currently hold two state Olympic Lifting records.

I started CrossFit after an employee of the Gold's Gym invited me to try out a class, I never went back onto the floor again. I am a former United States Marine. CrossFit had given me the drive to get back to the shape I was in as a Marine. I hold my CrossFit Level 1 and have ambitions to go on and get a CrossFit Kids certification, as well as USAW weightlifting certificate. My family is and has always been my life, and since starting CrossFit my family has just grown bigger.

I started CrossFit in 2009 after a friend introduced me to CrossFit LC Valley. The program was just becoming established, and I have been hooked ever since! I have always had an active lifestyle, but CrossFit has brought me back to my high school wrestling fitness. I love coaching and helping people reach their fitness goals. Coaching athletes to their “first” pull-up, handstand, muscle-up etc. is the best part of coaching for me. I hold a CrossFit Level 1 and Level 1 certifications and I plan to get my USAW weightlifting certificate. I mean, come on, what’s better than moving weight on a barbell! Outside of CrossFit, My family is my everything. We love to camp, hike, fish and enjoy Idaho’s beautiful back country!

I have been a part of the CrossFit LCValley family for…5 years? I got bored with wandering around a gym trying to figure out what to do. I wanted to be a part of a team and to be pushed. That’s exactly what I got my first time I did a WOD and I haven’t been on a regular gym floor since. I absolutely love the positive energy and comradery that comes with CrossFit LCValley.  I love coaching new people-especially the skeptics or the people who are intimidated by CrossFit. I push the importance of mechanics and proper technique in order to prevent injury, because that’s a huge fear for people just starting out and its given CrossFit a bad reputation. Its not that way at all! Anything new is scary but “if you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done”.  The workouts are so versatile, anyone can do it! And its pretty amazing to see someone accomplish something they never thought was possible. My husband also works out with me and my 18 month old spends just as much time in the gym as we do. I’m so blessed to be able to raise my daughter around such a strong group of people.

Coach Casey is a Southern California native and grew up in a suburb just north of Los Angeles.  Growing up, he competed mostly in team sports and went on to play tennis throughout high school.  Casey started coaching with Special Olympics and has over ten years coaching athletes with special needs in a variety of sports including floor hockey, softball, track & field and ice hockey.  He moved to the LC Valley back in 2014 which was when he joined CFLCV as he needed a change in his workout regimen.  Casey spends his free time riding dirt bikes and on the river waterskiing as well as being a volunteer firefighter / EMT for Asotin County Fire, which he says CrossFit has helped him excel both physically and mentally.  Casey lives in Clarkston with his signifcant, Shelby, daughter, Ryann, son Colton and one eyed dog, Tank.

I came into Crossfit LC Valley on a whim and instantly drank the koolaide! (Even though I could not walk the next day!) I loved the atmosphere and the community. Crossfit has added to my life by encouraging me to push beyond what I think is within my own personal limits. I quickly became a fixture in the Kid's Club, and soon after became part of the Mini-Fitters program which I adore.  Outside of the gym I enjoy spending time with my family at the cabin or outside hunting, boating/swimming, and camping.
